Heat gun is the best way. If you don't have one you might get away with a hair dryer.

I found this stuff called "Contractors Solvent" at my local hardware store and it works great for getting rid of glue and what-not. Used it to remove old caulk from my shower very easily. Tried on my truck when I ran through line paint. Had to let it soak a bit but with a little buffing, it came right off and did not damage the clearcoat. Should be able to find it at Home Depot or Lowes too.

Depending on the adhesive used on your stickers, sometimes just plain old rubbing alcohol will take it right off.

Good Luck.

Nail polish remover is mostly acetone. That also can work.

Acetone.... works like a champ. As you know I have had my fair share of changing names on boats over the last few years. I use a heat gun to get the lettering off and a quick wipe down with acetone takes off the rest.

You know The Pickle misses you!!!!

And Congrats are in order as well.

We use a heat gun here, but for the residue that's left behind we use a product called "Goo Gone". It comes in a yellowish bottle. It works great, smells like lemons and won't damage anything underneath it. I've used it on priceless antiques to remove unfortunately placed stickers and it left zero scratching.
