Default Baked Bass

Cover a bass fillet with 1/2 cup of mayo and 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese mixed well. Then sprinkle with panko bread crumbs and bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Very tasty !!!

Default Re: Baked Bass

Hey Capt., always looking for new ways to cook the fish( AND gives me more reasons to go on more trips to catch more so the wife will eat it too!) Tried this tonight with Striped bass, added some Italian Basil chopped up from the garden this summer and a little Old Bay mixed in to the mixture. Also used pecorrino romano cheese cut to half cup. After putting the Panko crumbs on, I topped with some seafood seasoning we use (Red Peppers, garlic, etc).WOW, what a tasty dish. Thanks for sharing. Next round going to try a little horseradish sauce into the mixture instead of pepper topping for a little variety (We like spice)

I've mixed in horseradish with this and it is great, also I've done it with grey poupon mustard and that gives it a nice zing.
