Please call for your reservation, as we don't overcrowd the boat.
Going off to some deeper wrecks...
7:00 am departure, $70 fare.
Are we leaving at 6:30 or 7:00?

Couldn't ask for a much better February day on the water.
Unfortunately no sun, cloudy and cold, but not too. The wind and the seas had laid down.
The fishing was only fair, you might say poor for some, but not for lack of trying, on 4 or 5 drops and a few wiggles.
Capt. Ken, Mrs. Capt Ken, ( Pam ) and mate Chris are great people and I would most definitely fish with them again.

It was a light crew of I think 13 or 14. Couple no shows.
Had everyone who committed shown-up, still plenty of room on board.
One guy was on fire and had 8 keeper blackfish. ( on white leggers ) I'll keep his identity secret.
Pam I know had three and I think a 1/2 dozen ling or so. Most guys had one or two keeper blacks. Not too many shorts today.

One guy ( nice meeting you Rich ) switched over early to strictly gulp, and put a dozen or more ling in his cooler.
One or two others had up to maybe 7 or 8 ling.

I was stubborn like most guys, and continued to concentrate on blackfish even though I suck at it.
I had two in my cooler, nothing spectacular. I did drop at least two which I believe were decent fish. I didn't see the pool fish
as I was napping on the way back. The second place fish was maybe 8 lbs.
I understand he missed the pool by just a little bit.

Thanks you guys from NJFishing for some good conversation, some pointers
for future trips, and some vision help for an old timer who can't see straight even though I don't drink.

Tight lines all and hope to see you all again on the water.

Tom K.

Tom, it was a pleasure meeting and fishing with you yesterday...I admire anybody that schedules a surgical procedere around their fishing schedule , a man after my own heart!
