Summer Snakeheads
Had some nice raritan outings for SMB, succeeding in getting my brother on his first fish and some hard fighting SMB. I did well on ned rigs, but even better on weightless flukes.
I also took my canoe out for snakeheads. Scenery pic is misleading; I caught nothing at this spot lol. Most fish on the frog, but some action and 1 fish landed on a weightless fluke as well. They seemed to commit better to the subsurface lures when there wasnt much vegetation, and when a lot of vegetation, leaving the frog still in place got a bite. but in general just walking the frog forward was enough and the snakeheads crushed it. |
