Yesterday, we tried numerous area’s with not much to report. We caught a handful of blues and mackerel, along with a few bonito on each stop but not much action. It was a lot slower today than it has been.

We had excellent mackerel fishing today. It honestly does not get any better than what we had today! We started on them right away, with both jigs and bait, as well as a good amount of sea bass for the anglers that had their share of mackerel. We also saw a few blues in the mix. Our pool winner was Andy Madrona from Jersey City, NJ.
