Default To fish for largemouth or landlock?

I went with the LM last Friday in WSP and the weatherman was way off on the wind. The wind pretty much blew down the length of the lake and calm water was hard to come by. Needless to say the pickerel were abundant as usual. Finally found a protected area and it payed off.
