This past week

Here's a couple of pics from the past few days. The brown is from yesterday, he was about 21" but super fat built like a football prob 4lbs and fought awesome (released). Caught a lot of stockies and some holdover 15"ers also. I missed probably one of the biggest fish I have ever had a chance at. Had him on a 10' steelhead rod with 8lb test and I couldn't turn him and could barely move him just a few inches at a time, lost him on a head shake. Had him on for a good 2 or 3 mins and never got a look at him. The rainbow was cool because we went out and got him and a bunch of stockies during the tropical storm (bad miserable idea) fish bit though lol. The hybrid with my buddy in the red is our biggest one this year that came one night last week, it was
26"+ and probably around 8lbs. For reference the guy is around 250lbs and 5'10". Prob not fishing the lake for trout again till September water temps are getting up there 73+ at 1pm to warm to release. Good Luck

Thanks guys. I would have to say the lost fish was either a massive brown or a gigantic laker. Based on the fact that he never took off (didn't go real crazy like some other big browns) one run and bulldogged me to the bottom Im leaning towards laker. We did hook him shallow though so who knows! Ive fought 15lb and 20lb steelhead on that rod and this fish had it maxed out so it was big!! Ah well that's fishing.
