Re: Is China responsible for our fishing woes?
The answer is no. A virus could spring up anywhere. It just so happened to be China this time we think.
Our government is not responsible for the trade problems and deficits with China. Corporate America and multi national corporations are responsible. They are the ones who exported all the jobs. They are the ones that knew manufacturing over there involved unregulated pollution and a captive, cheap labor market. For decades they've been chiseling away at middle america in order to please shareholders and Wall St. The government has become merely a means to that end. In a country where money flows so freely to it from the private sector it's no wonder we are where we are. |
