Default Minkota Ulterra 24 volt 80 lb thrust

Considering on making an investment into the Minkota Ulterra has anybody had any experience good bad or indifferent with this motor?? It will also have spot lock. Saw a few videos but would really like to hear from someone who actually has one mounted on there boat. How efficient is the alternator charger for a 2 bank system?? Thanks

Personally I have a Rhodan on my boat. 36 volt for the size of my CC...depends on your boat what size you need.
I love the Rhodan...very efficient.

How well does it keep an exact Position on with your 32 ?
how any hours do you get out of the 36 volt system ?

Been hearing both the Rhodan and the Ulterra are getting burned up pretty quick on boats over 28 '

I have been considering one on my 32

It holds me quite steady. I can't complain. A lot easier than dropping an anchor...pulling up once its caught and not being where you want to be. Damn...ive gotten a full day of togging out of it with juice to spare. At 120 lb of thrust...I can be sitting in a current, put it in manual and have thrust to spare to pull me away or adjust my position a few feet. Have to check how high your bow is. My rhodan is a 7 ft...and a 2 ft chop will take it out of the water at times.
im in monmouth cove if you ever wanted to take a look. Easy to install actually. just need space to put 3 big ass batteries!

I have an 80lb Ulterra on my 17’ G3 and it works great. Hands free control and all the added features of the i-Pilot like spot lock, cruise control, autopilot etc are really awesome when fishing alone.

Is that an auto deploy or manual deploy?

Ulterra us Auto deploy .
I have that motor on my 18’ crest liner for the river .it works great .
.
Been looking at the Rhodan, in the 120 for my contender .
If I could get a whole day togging it’s def a great investment
