Default Pop up Ads on NJFishing?

Is anyone else getting an obnoxious pop up on the bottom of the site? It is so large that it blocks more than half the screen on my phone.

Don't click the link to unsubscribe. That just gives them information of a valid email address.

At 1st I thought it was malware on my laptop but tried it with a few different browsers + phone and got the same thing.
After some research Infolinks is a marketing company that sells advertising space. No virus or anything to worry about IMO.

i agree, the new huge ads take up a ridiculous amount of space. losing 1/3 or 1/2 of an already small cell phone screen sucks!

Correct on both accounts. Unsubscribing validates data on ads such as this and they will begin targeting you with more ads.

Infolinks basically buys up remnant space on the display network and resells at a slightly higher cost per thousand to earn some dollars. Volume based--not quality. They likely fold the impression-based campaigns into packages including other digital media products. The text-based ads you see lacking image or graphic design creative is a tell-tale sign of this...

I'll jump off my digital marketing nerdery soap box now LOL

Working on this so please bare with us... I think most of the issues is how these ads appear on mobile devises like phones and tablets since they occupy too much of the screen so trying to work with them on that... The other thing is when you pinch and zoom the add also gets bigger which is really annoying.

If can't get some fixes done soon, I'll likely shut them down all together.

If you have any specific input, complaints or suggestions shoot me an email at njfishing@aol.com

Thanks!
