Default South Branch Water Level?

I figured I would take tomorrow off - I need a break and the fact that its a Friday, weather is supposed to be mild, and it’s my 40th birthday made the decision easy. What isn’t easy is deciding where to spend the day fishing. Would like to take out my yak one last time and was wondering if anyone could report on the flow/water level in the south branch? I don’t mind a bit of portaging but I prefer to spend more time in my yak than dragging it behind me. If the SB is too low o will make the trek to the big D but would rather save the extra 30 minute commute each way and spend it on the water. Any intel appreciated. Probably would be floating a stretch either between 78 And Flemington or Flemington and Neshanic Station. I know at least one of you guys must drive over the SB on your way to work so if you get a chance take a look and let me know what I am dealing with. Thanks!

Based on the USGS gauge level for Stanton Station you should be okay for either section. Good luck and Happy B-day!

Thanks! I didn’t know there were any gauges for the SB, let alone the very stretch I was planning to float..... Game on! Hopefully my next post will include some fish:-)
