Default Pocono Brookies & browns - 7/3/15

Headed up to Pa where they got a bunch of rain(3 to 6") early this week. Streams were rockin' pretty good and the fish were cooperating. Lots of new downed trees(from severe T -storms) to manuever around but otherwise a fine day of fishing. Cool air, no bugs, no other anglers and plenty of trout. Good start to the holiday weekend!

I found the landowners sign "No one is allowed on my property" funny. Definitely different from the usual Yellow or Orange "Posted" signs. I'll give them credit for originality. I stayed on the public side of the creek.

On a roll since it started raining the last month or so. 100+ trout 5 of the last 6 trips. Rain good for trout; not so much pike. Got to make the most of what mother nature gives you ;-)

Thumbs up Re: Pocono Brookies & browns - 7/3/15

Beautiful fish. Those are some of the prettiest Trout ported on this board. Certain areas of PA sure did get hammered with some crazy torrential storms. Saw it all on the news and internet. Pristine waters very close to home! LOVE IT!!!

Good to see you did well on Friday. I went up to the Bushkill along Rt 209, saw the water level, and then drove over an hour home!

Jersey water looked fine, Poconos reall must have got hammered with rain the middle/end of last week

I live in the Poconos and for the life of me can not figure out what stream you were one. First thought was above Brodhead or Paradise Creek
