Can’t help you with a half day charter in New Orleans. If possible, I’d strongly recommend taking a drive down to Venice. I used Mexican Gulf Fishing Company. They were awesome!

When are you going to New Orleans?

I’m heading there myself. PM me.

Eamon- there is a local company that does half day charters, I used them a few years ago. I will have to look for the name, I want to say something like Capt. Bill's. They target redfish and black drum, I had a lot of fun. I'll try and find the name for you, but google fishing charters New Orleans and you will find lots of opportunities, you don't have to drive all the way down to Venice (which is about an hour or more).
