PROWLER 5 - SAT., NOV. 30TH - TREMENDOUS STRIPED BASS TRIP
Hey gang, we only had 13 customers to show up to go fishing today. What a shame. I had 10 or 11 people cancel on me last night because of the cold. The ocean was beautiful, the sun was out and sure it's cold - it's supposed to be - it's practically Dec. We started out where we've been fishing and when I got there I didn't like the conditions and the little bit of boat traffic so I decided to roll the dice and get the hell out of there. We used our speed to go to another location. We were all by ourselves and it was game on! We got into a 2 hr. drift where we just held big fish, slot fish, bonus fish. Some 40, 50 pounders. Easy boat limit and then it was catch and release. Sometimes it's good to get away and find fish by yourself. I know that Capt. Mike on the MiJo also had the tremendous fishing we had today and there were a few other party boats in the vicinity, but we were all spread out. There was a big spread of fish. We are actually getting in around 2:00 today. The people got tired of winding them in all day. Capt. Jack will be at the helm tomorrow. Don't let the cold stop you from coming down. Don't miss the bite. 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fare is $90; spinning rods are $10 if needed. Thanks, Capt. Scott
