Default Boat Slip Question

Can anyone tell me if there is an issue with shallow slips at the Belmar Marina?
I leased a slip on E dock, and was down there yesterday at low tide, took out my measuring tape and only had 27" of water in my slip?? My wellcraft needs 30" with the engine down.. I sent an email to the Marina office. Maybe they can move me out towards the end of the dock?

I don’t know the particulars of each of the docks at Belmar but I know a few friends who had boats there & they always had plenty of water. 27 inches is pretty close to the 30 you need & that slip has probably sat empty for a few months. Once u back into that slip a few times, I would think you will blow some of the bottom back & it will become a little deeper

Hank you should have came to our marina.
would have saved some money,, and had a place to park.
since they built the zoo over there, parking is at a premium

I was there in the AP days. Great family ran it. On site fueling. And only one bridge - Ocean Avenue.

True by the bridge and main river it does. Tidal drop is what 5-6 feet?

But once inside marina the current is easily workable. My Grady with these damn twinned 200hp OMC Sea Drives did not back worth a damn. I had no problem in there docking.

Thank you all,
I guess we'll give it a shot this year, I already paid in full.liked the floating docks, and the place is little kid friendly.. Kinda worried about the parking issue? Emailed the marina office last week about the water depth issue, no,reply yet. I was at Hoffmans for 10 years, the water current there is wicked, like the Colorado River at times, and they want $4,500. For my 25' boat. parking there is a bitch too... I can always move next year, ,thanks again
