Default Barnegat Inet Questions

I'm in the process of picking a slip for my 1999 17' Outrage for net year. I've done most of my fishing out of Shark River Inlet but after years of watching the weather for good days, I've decided to move south for decent bay fishing when it's too rough outside. I've visited Baker's Basin Marina in Waretown and know there are more not too far from there. Does anyone have a marina they've used to recommend? I've got one quote for a place not too far from the inlet for $90/foot. Does that sound reasonable? I don't want too far of a ride to the inlet.

Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Dave

We are in good luck point just up the bay from Waretown. Safe Marina off the bay and I'm sure they have slips but the bay on the ride back kicks our ass. Like a big washing machine. Ours is a 21 foot outrage. Hoping to move further north next year. Good luck finding a spot.

Holiday Harbor, Mac's Dock, and Townsend are the most popular ones. Holiday Harbor being directly across from the BI/Oyster Creek Channel. No idea on prices/cost though.

Long Key in Waretown is a nice marina and they have floating docks for smaller boats. With a 17" boat a lot of your fishing will probably be in the bay so Waretown is the perfect location. Had a boat on LBI for a few years by the lighthouse nice short ride to the inlet but traffic in the summer sucks.

Thanks for the replies. I know there are a few nice places out there but I was hoping for some reviews on them.

Thanks again and have a wonderful day!
