Default land locked salmon jigging

took a few trips to figure these guys out, but we've been catching them (as picky as they can be most of the time) finally had a few nicer sized ones this past weekend jigging. hard to beat bending an ice rod in half on these little speedster salmon! 18" and 20" my best through the ice so far.

nice work chris that first pic the fish is chunky while the other is a skinny one those must be fun to fight on a jig rod well done were they close to the ice when you hooked em or were they more in the middle of the water you were fishing in?

Congrats buddy. Really are beautiful fish! Look forward to seeing you holding the 29" and breaking the state record. Just a matter of time. You definitely have better luck with lakers and salmon than you do with flatheads!
