Default Raw water pump replacement

Finally got to uncover, tune up the boat, looks like the filter assembly cracked on the raw water pump. It's probably the original (1999) , so thinking of giving it a try to replace it. 1999 23 hydra sports wa, any tips or suggestions are appreciated. Or any Mobil mech looking for work?

Had a 97- inspect all plumbing lines, almost guaranteed you’ll find dry rot on some, and there may not even be seacocks on some of them as well, like fishboxes and scupper drains- look around, it’s not easy getting some places, but necessary for safety!! Good luck!!

Don’t skimp out on replacements either, make sure they are rated for below the waterline, normally have a blue line or is written on the piping
