Sorry for your loss Chris. I know your dad has been fighting for a while now. Just keep filling those coolers and he will be smiling down on you. Maybe even catch a few on one of those Diawa rods he was so fond of.

Chris

Very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I remember the first day that I met your Dad. I was a young kid on my first blackfish trip out of NJ on the Mohawk. When I got on board your Dad came over to me and asked me about rod I was using. It was a 6'.5" Diawa Sealine rod that happened to be his favorite rod that he could not find anymore being that they were disscontinued. I knew of a shop up north where I originally bought rod and was able to find another one. Next time fishing the Mohawk I bought rod with me and presented it to your Dad. Being kind of a newbie on a boat full of sharpies he kind of took me under his wing and showed me some of the ropes of being a good blackfisherman. With his help my learning curve was shortened and i started to win a few pools and gain the respect of some of the regulars. I still have that rod and to this day I still think of your Dad everytime I see my nephew catch a fish on it. He will be missed.

Alex
