Damn things stuck!!!!
I recently got a newer boat and this one has the springfield style seat posts and i have one that was practically impossible to remove. I did finally get it out but only after i used every ounce of energy i had and almost knocked myself out with it when it came free! My question is what do you use to prevent this from happening? I thought maybe grease or silicone spray or armor all on the end and the plastic sleeve on the base? Hope somebody has a good answer for this one!
Thanks in advance for your help!!!!

Re: Damn things stuck!!!!
Try a high temp anti seize, that when when it gets hot you don't have grease running all around

When I saw that you replied to this I just knew it was going to be extremely helpful and magnificently insightful... I can just imagine if you were there to say that when Dale was trying to get that seat out!!!
Sure hope you don't accidently fall off the front of the Getanet the next time out.
