They sell 8 packs in a variety of all their colors(similar to gulp's) for $44.99. I bought this but haven't used them yet to compare. They advertise that they're tougher than gulp and hold scent as good or better.

We have not been having that issue with any of the new baits .and fish them A LOT. Possibly some stores still have new old stock . . Will be fishing a bunch of the new colors this weekend . Will see how they hold up

not exactly. but each color will appear as a different shade/tone/contrast in the fish's vision depending on light conditions and water clarity. They do see and feel that tail going and certainly TASTE the gulp! juice once it's close to or in its mouth!
