Default New Boat...replaced the 'Cat.

Well...got the replacement in a couple weeks ago. Thrilled as heck with it so far as well. The worldcat got flipped in the parking lot during sandy. So...looking and looking and found this Seacraft. Low hours on the Mercs. Looking forward to splashing her in a couple weeks!

good luck with it . they are a nice ride. Just get good canvas as they are a little wetter than other boats in that size class. But they handle well in the slop

Thanks...Have heard that they are a bit wetter than some others. Will likely get some canvas wings done as season wears on. Putting enough $$ into it already, so gotta save up for 'em!

Default Quick Spin on the Seacraft today...

Took her out for a quick spin from the marina today....wow what a difference in handling from the cat. Im so used to how the cat spun on a dime with the wide stance engines. Not this thing!
Headed out the canal and past keyport ramp and started to give her throttle. Loaded down with 130 Gal of Fuel for starters...she got up on plane like a pig. Right around 4k she leveled out and was getting going nicely at 26kts. Smooth ride as it was very nice outside the harbor today and carved turns which im NOT used to anymore! Cat leaned like a bus.

Overall, the Avery Lynn was a nice ride today. All the raw water pumps operated properly which was somewhat of a surprise. Have to add the rod holders on port side. Secure electronics wiring better and she'll be good to go. Likely will wrap her up mid season and get her looking spiffy for the July Fluke Tourney!

Sweet looking boat. Funny I noticed it has FL and NJ in the Regi.

Looks fast with the dark blue hull. SHould look even sharper in the water reflecting off that hull.

NICE!

The blue on the hull is a mess. Need to talk to someone about that....was told it needs a Wet Sanding....to bring it back to life. Not sure I want to do that. Thinking just wrapping her similar to the cat there....put my Co's Logo there and daughter's name of course!
