Default Walleye weekend

Weekend recap: fri had the jigman come up for shakedown trip on the hornet we had fish at evrey drop of the hook. Lots of short strikes and slurps for me with one fish to net jeremy took me to school that day

Sat night : ran back solo to where we had em good fri not a touch did see alot of two marble eyes swimming around though😬 Tried bunch spots that thing in the sky sucks!!!

Sun night: had my buddy jon run up for his first eye night hunting experience tried the usual and same results as sat night, i will mention though at spot number one full of eyes as im pullin in the anchor i spot a fifty+ inch musky swimming around the boat in circles😳 Pitched a herring on its nose turned looked at it nada threw plug workin it evrey way i could nothing, finally it swam away. With the past two tough nights we hit the mahi pots and whacked a smallmouth bunch perch and two decent eyes a 25 and a 25 1/2 bounced around to check some new turf and had one fish on that popped of called for it at 230

What are you guys using to catch walleye at night? Jerk baits? Herring? Top water? What times would you recommend to go? I've heard don't start till 10pm but that was during the warmer months of the summer. PM me if you want.

That's really cool about the musky. Those walleye are real nice and I never seem to see any until October...just a few summer.
