Default Does anyone want a damaged boat for parts or know where I can get rid of it?

Does anyone know where I can either give away or pay to get rid of a damaged boat. Its a 24foot Cuddy Cabin Aquasport and only the back 1/4 interior of the boat was damaged in a fire in late November while winterizing. I'm sure there is still a lot of weight in metal from the i/o engine that is still worth something. The lower unit is still in very good working condition as well.

I need to get the boat off the trailer so I can try to sell the trailer. The trailer is in perfect condition with brand new tires, new wiring, new brake lights. The trailer is 26ft long.

Any help is really appreciated.

My number if 201.400.3212

I just need to get rid of the boat so i stop getting depressed looking at it in my driveway.

Post it up on Craigslist as free, just pick up, someone will come and get it.

But I have to ask...how did she go up in flames during winterizing?

Thanks for the link tropics.... Waited too long. I couldn't get around to winterizing it due to business travel until first couple days in Dec. Block and water pump froze up and I tried to get an electric heater inside by the engine compartment for a few hours and that was the end of it.

My advice .. move somewhere warm where you never have to deal with it or never let it go past mid-November for this reason.

Worst part is that the following week it turned 60 degrees again

Possibly a local tech school or Purple Heart/Other donation agency?
