Question Who has the best subs?

Lets hear it, who's got the best subs?
List Atlantic highlands area, point pleasant area, so on.
Always looking to grab a sub for the ride home.

I second Slater's deli on 36 in Leonardo. Their subs are da bomb.

If you get a breakfast sandwich get a plain roll with it...the sandwich is easily big enough to feed 2 people.

Slater's also gives back to the community....He's been known to take care of the brave men and women serving our country from the local Naval base...

Support those who support you....

Thumbs up Re: Who has the best subs?

"Slater's also gives back to the community.."

More than anyone will ever know. Ralph is always willing to help out with a community project. He has donated subs to the Hi-Mar fishing trips many times.

They will, upon request, open early so that guys can pick up subs. Ralph opened early so that guys could pick up breakfast sandwiches for both bus trips to D.C. It was a shame that the second time only 2 or 3 guys stopped to pick up a sandwich. But that may be Ralph's fault? Two sandwiches probably fed the whole bus!

Slaters super sub is an over stuffed hero with all the fixins.
It's a meal in itself.
I do believe ralphs son has a place of his own in the middletown area.

Not any more. Slater's II is on Hwy 35 north in the Oak Hill area. The food is just as good, if not better but Ralph Jr gave it up.

Is Slater's open in the early morning to get subs for a trip beforehand?
