Default cold but good bite

hit lh at 6:45a.m. saturday morning.i had a good bite till 9a.m., catching my limit
of crappies and releasing a few more.headed out in the afternoon to find the
fishing much much slower.i picked at several spots but never found them.went up again sunday morning to find 25 degree temps.was not really expecting much
but that quickly changed.started catching crappie, shiners,lm bass & slimmers.
the bite lasted till around 9 and then they slowed.went to grab a coffee and i get a call from my son saying he and my other son were taking the boat out and asked if i wanted to go.i said sure i'll see ya at the dock.we headed out at 10:30
and it was only a short ride.we started catching nice slabs right away.it was a
very steady bite of all good crappie.after a hour and a half we made another small move and again started catching crappie again.that spot was short lived so we made another move only to find dead water.headed back to the first spot
and ended the trip picking at them.we kept a few for the table and released the rest.it was great to be out with my sons as the b busting and laughs seemed to
be what was really needed.stay well

It was good to see you guys in the morning. Glad to hear that you all got out in the afternoon and found some fish to play nice. I ended up seeing capt mikey in the black mamba and later on fast eddie showed up and we found some fish to play with for a little while and then it slowed down so i went home with five crappies for the table.Stay safe and healthy god bless bunker dunker.
