I'll be there!!! Have never missed the fly show...It will be interesting to see how things are done with the new venue and all....Don't think theyll have as much space for all the seminars and such but i guess will see....gonna bring a spin buddy and see if he digs it , which i already know he doesn't...

Interested to see the new venue, maybe it breathes some life into the show. The old place was stale, maybe cause I've been going so long. I have a rod I want to get restored so I'll be chatting up the bamboo guys. Otherwise I'll get what I have in mind and bale out before the pompousness of the place engulfs me. I might f with a few of the big egos too, just for kicks.

I tried to go on Saturday. Holy crap, was it crowded. I drove around for a half hour trying to find a spot and left. I use a scooter and have a van with a ramp so I can't park just anywhere. Oh well, I'll make sure I go earlier to the saltwater show.

In the future, if you see a cop there (They're usually parked by the entrance), explain to them your situation and they'll often accommodate your needs. I had a friend who was in a wheelchair with a shattered hip from skiing accident who was adamant about attending a show there. We pulled up, spoke to a cop and he let us park right in front. It was awesome. Sometimes they can help out.

Good to keep in mind next time around.

I thought about parking in one of the staff spots and then talking to someone about it but I assumed finding the right person to talk to would be a hassle plus if it's that packed , it wouldn't be fun maneuvering and I'd never get to talk to any outfitters.

I thing I'm going to take a weekday off for the saltwater show in march.
