Default Boat Launches Barney Bay....

Plan on taking the family to Tices this summer and went scouting ramps. Was trying to launch mainland side as to avoid having to go over the Rt 37 bridge.

Checked in on Downes, Trixies, Good Luck Point, and Whiteys. Gotta admit I'm spoiled launching from AHMH 90% of the time, but these ramps and the properties looked real small as far as getting around and parking for the day.

Shot on over to Seaside Muni ramp to look. Plenty of parking room and ok dock space. Ramp seemed shallow way out at low tide.

Any other spots to look at?? Any help appreciated.

BTW, wet a line in the suds...no dice.

If you don't mind making a 25-30 min run, I know of an association that issues ramp passes in Toms River near yacht club and sailing club. Ramp is decent, gated access. I can check to see if interested...Send me a PM and I'll give you more specifics on location...

Barnegat public dock. they have a ramp and parking. Its about a 30 minute run from there, not bad at all.

Barnegat Public Dock or check out Sands Point Park/Boat Ramp Off Dock Rd. in Waretown on the Oyster Creek outflow.

Strongly recommend this place. Nice ramp. Yard for parking. I used to launch my 21ft aquasport there, no problem and I only had 2wd truck.
