Question Trim/tilt issue

Haven't used my own boat in a few months, now the trim/tilt is stuck in up position, the release screw/valve will not move: had this problem when I got it a number of years ago... Anyone ever run into and happen to have any good tricks, she's still in her slip and it's a 97 Johnson 200 ocean runner...?

When you hit the trim and tilt switch do you hear the trim pump running?

My 98 200 Johnson wouldn't trim down over this past season intermittently, it turned out to be a bad wire on the limit switch. The engine would go up but not down, drove me nuts.
