Default Best ones from the last couple of weeks

Needless to say either it's been raining or the wind has been blowing during the week. The weekends I usually leave for those who aren't retired. The LM from today shot up from 8 fow to crush and inhale my lure only eight feet from the boat. Then it took off like a bat, gave quite a fight, was barely hooked and all our fish get released even 28" brown trout.

AndyS - With a little caveat, the most recent BT of that size was in Nov. a couple of years ago, it was long, thin and didn't have my camera but did have a ruler, not a fish story.LOL I do have a picture of one from a lake in Ct. also caught in Nov. in about 20 fow on an 1/8oz. deer hair jig that I tied. This time I had the camera but no ruler but my ballpark calculation is around 30".

PS: Calculation - Took a measurement from picture of index finger (1/2") and length of BT (4 1/2"). 1/2 goes into 4 1/2 = 9 times actual length of finger is 4" so 9 X 4 =36, thus my est. of about 30" to be safe.
