Default Big Bass this Summer

Here are photos of just some of them. My Father's Day gift was a 23 1/4-inch largemouth caught from shore at Merrill & released. I never weighed it. Nice and fat. The photo doesn't quite do it justice, but I'm saving the better for possible magazine use. Caught others over three I didn't include photos of, including a smallmouth that hit a topwater at sunrise. Almost 19 inches. It's been good fishing with my son. Other than one outing with a friend, he's been my only partner this summer. Goes back to BU early Sept.

Nice fish

I wish they would let small boats/yaks on that pond.

Nice! The shore fishing has become limited since the water level rose.

It would be interesting to use the graph. Interesting rock structures in the depths might hold the other bass.

Thanks you guys!

Andy, I was thinking of using the Great Canadian for the Raritan someday. It is only 13 feet, but sure paddles nicely....just a little tippy, but it is a classic canoe no longer made.

Lightbulb Re: Big Bass this Summer

My 17 ft. Indian fiberglass is old, a battle wagon. This canoe weighs in at 73 pounds. I think you said yours was quite heavy. Also mine is a flat bottom, VERY stable.
