Default Fish I.D.

Been off the grid a little bit but have stayed in tune here to see what you guys have been busy with. As usual, been slayin' the pike on the Passaic with the occasional cameo from others that are willing to bite. While on a slower day, was baiting & waiting and caught this guy after watching him swim by all day. Would say it's definitely got some type of mixture in it but couldn't say for sure what. Maybe Mark B. has seen more specimens like this and could elaborate on what it is. Any ideas or thoughts on this would be appreciated.

And a bonus 16" smallie that demolished a binsky under the heavy flow of the Dundee Dam...

That’s not a grass carp, it’s a ghost carp. Common carp and koi hybrid.

Good look Matt. Figured it was a hybrid but didn't really know enough to classify it. Seems like another 1st for me, pretty cool! Thanks again guys.
