Default SeaStreak Accident this AM

the Seastreak ferry to Wall Street from the Highlands, struck a dock during rush hour in lower Manhattan. 53 people injured. Hope injuries are minor.

some people are pretty seriously injured..one is critical according to msnbc report. when these ferries wreck it never seems to be a "minor" incident.

Of course its never minor when you have about 100tons of boat moving forward and hitting an object that doesnt move makes for a very hard sudden stop. I hope everyone on the ferry comes out ok.

I think if they were there they probably were warned not to comment on the internet because there will probably be lawsuits involved.

This a perfect example of why you are asked to remain in your seats til the aircraft has come to a complete stop. Looks like it applies to boats as well.
