Default Black scuff remover….

What are you guys using to remove scuff marks from the hull? Boat took a beating this season and have plenty to clean.

Used some compound and got it off but no way I’m doing the entire hull that way. Gotta be a better way.

I use Mary Kate On-Off which is great on the water line scum but does nothing on the black scuffs. BTW….don’t ever get that stuff into a cut on your hands, ooofffff NOT good….

Acetone or denatured alcohol should take that off. I’ve been using 3m cleaner and wax and I think with some effort it should take those scuff off as well.

Awesome thanks. Worked really well.

Gerry, I was real hesitant on the acetone. Felt like it sucked the gel coat dry.
