Default Musconetcong Report - 10/6/2019

After the banner day on the river I decided to test my luck and see what the bass were doing on Sunday. Arrived to misty and generally unpleasant conditions, got blown all over the lake, and got fed up with the weeds after a couple of hours. The weeds are totally out of control and half the lake is unfishable.

As I was getting blown around and picking off weeds I did manage a pair of 18" chunksters fatting up for the winter. They hit so damn hard they nearly ripped the rod out of my hand. Fall is here! Get out there!

Damn my friend, thats some nice bass AS ALWAYS, now I just need to get together with you this fall on LH so you can teach me how to catch these Hybrids, I hear they fight like crazy. BTW, I will be in your neck of the woods saturday, we are doing a open bass tournament. Maybe you will be on the lake.

Great looking Bass! They sure are feeding quite nicely and there’s plenty of time for them to get fatter! YESSSSS!

Nice ones and they look healthy after this hot Summer. Be careful what you wish for because no weeds can be worse.lol

clean green weeds are fine, its that gooey crap that sticks to even weedless lures that sucks. those are some nice fat bass, but when are you going to grow a set so we can start saltwater kayak fishing!

I've had that happen, and also with my hands being so cold almost not being able to reel! Makes the fights that much crazier though!! Sweet catches bro!!!
