Default Rainy Round Valley Sunday

Only window I had to fish this weekend was Sunday morning in the downpour so decided to bait and wait from shore. Stopped by Sporting Life for some shiners and reports of shoreline rainbows were good. None showed up for me, but was able to land two smallmouth and a bonus chunky channel cat as time ran out on my 2.5 hour trip. Saw a few other guys around but no bent rods; the wind didn’t seem to be much of anything at the house, but out on the reservoir it was like a monsoon. Had to beef up the weights to even hold bottom...

Not too bad for a rainy day, Throw two rods out with bait and let them soak, and cast some rapalas with another while you wait man.
