Yes..the thermocline is around 15 feet on the main lake. Its more noticeable early in the morning.

Thanks..I fished all those lakes but I have the most experience on Hopatcong and Swartswood. I think your best chances of catching walleyes is on Swartswood. I like to troll worm harnesses behind a 2 or 3 ounce bottom bouncer around the weed edges.

and you can troll those harnesses up in the water column too. i haven't had my baits below 20 feet all summer.
