Freshwater fishing charters:
Amazing when you look around the Tri-state area how many freshwater fishing charter services are out there.
You can charter a guide boat on the Delaware river for shad fishing or charter a drift boat on the upper Delaware river for multi species fishing, especially trout. You can charter a boat on a few near by rivers in Pennsylvania like the Lehigh river for trout or the Susquahana for bass. I think there are a few guide boats offering to fish many lakes right here in New Jersey. I'm sure if you wanted to you could find a guided trip on Lake Hopatcong, Greenwood lake or Round Valley. There are even guides for walking some of the more popular trout streams right here in New Jersey also. So if your season hasn't been up to par lately and you have the cash, you can always think about hiring a guided service. It's no guarantee to catch fish, but the guides have extensive knowledge and can stack the odds in your favor.

Re: Freshwater fishing charters:
There is one for the Raritan, capt'n Paul Eidman. I'd need a few more dams to come down before I bought that drift boat.
