Thumbs down Delaware River 1/7/12

Hit the river around 1030 am. 3 anglers in the boat, fished til dark and didnt catch a thing, well a lil sunburn on the face! Alot of jet boats flying up and down river, talked to most of those anglers, they came up with nothing as well. Water was perfect in my opinion but nothing was hungry. The water temp is 34-36, it sure was a great day to be out there. Anybody out there fish the delaware yesterday? Did you have better luck then me and my crew and the other 6 boats that were in the area we were fishing? Any fish? Any ICE? GOT ICE!!!!! FISH-ON COMIN DOWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!

Not one boat came through where Lard and I where and no soup for us either.
Water was really cold in spite of the great weather.
Eddie you put in some hours, I admire your tenacity

Looking for smallies? Yeah. I talked to one of the guys in those jet boats. They were all out there together and they were all fishing for muskie.

I also talked to one of the jet boat guys, said he jigged up a pretty big musky the other day but lost it. I got spooled by a musky in riegelsville last year, crazy fish took me upstream to the boulder field, I chased em all the way up only to lose em. I was using 6lb test and jigging for eyes when that beast hit. Actually got to see him to, he was 40+. Oh well. Jet boat guys cant be getting too much fishing done if im watching them run up and down river every 30 minutes.............wasting gas and fishing 2 different things!
