Its a tough time of life for peeps our age Steve. This is what happens and the circle of life. Been there and saying that doesn't make it any easier so please don't take it that way. Sorry you are going through it and Hoping for the best.

Sorry to hear the news. Been dealing with Dementia/Alzhimers with my Dad for the past 5 years or so. Physically he is OK but mind is shot and progressivly getting worse even with Meds as they are suppose to slow progression but does not really seem to work. It is very hard dealing with that disease

Thank you guys, all of you. Unfortunately or fortunately his body is giving you now. Complications from the illness. It will be days and he will be gone. This will leave a huge hole in my heart and in my life. But he will go into that goodnight peacefully thanks to hospices care. My heart will break any day now. A day I have feared all my life. How will I live without my father. I will live the rest of my life thanking him for his support to finally do what I was meant to due. I am due to receive my 100 ton master captains license. It would still be just a dream without the positive support and constant encouragement from my dad, my mom, Norma . And of coarse my family. I love you all and I know we will all miss him for the rest of our lives
