Talking Fall Walleye fishing!!!

Been out a few times recently. My first Walleye trip of the fall season was with Mikey and Rocco Saturday November 17th. It was an ok day! I had 6 Walleye but most were shorts with 2 keepers in the mix. Rocco had the hot hand with the bigger fish on this trip! Way to go old man! Your learning! Hehe!

2nd trip of the year, Black Friday! What a disaster this day was? It’s usually my favorite day to fish. Not this time! I couldn’t land a fish to save my life. I’d hook em’ and they would pop off next to the boat or halfway up. I actually smashed a rod into 5000 pieces out of aggravation. The amount of fish I lost was ridiculous. Haha! I’ve been feeling a little tense and burnt out lately with the entire moving process. Thank god it’s over and my family and I are in the new place. Smashing that rod actually made me feel better! Like for real!!! And yes! I’m a phsyco! Lol! Managed to land one Walleye on this miserable cold day! YEA BUDDY!!!

Headed back out Saturday, yesterday to redeem myself. The day started off slow but by noon I started whackin’ those Walleye on a plain 1/8 ounce jig tipped with a Weeeeeeee-whoooooo worm! Landed 5 fish and lost just as many! Good day on the water but not spectacular! The big Walleye just haven’t showed there faces yet! Hopefully they will soon. All keeper sized Walleye measured 18-21 inches. The short action is good as well but man, “Where the big girls at?” Pictured are some keepers from the last 3 trips! TIGHT LINEZ NJF’ers!!!

Nice eyes Eddie. I'm tempted to try eating one out of the cold water but haven't brought myself to harvesting just yet. Are they really as good as people say they are?
