Default Marco Island charter recommendation

I'll be in Marco the end of next week and was wondering if anyone could recommend a charter for a 1/2 to 3/4 day. Not looking to travel far so want to leave from Marco or Goodland.
Any ideas?

Charlie

Used Six Chuter Charters a few years ago. Took the family in the backwaters and caught speckled trout, mangrove snappers and sheepshead. Captain was great, clean boat, helped the kids with everything. They cleaned all the fish and we took them to the hotel and had an awesome dinner. They cooked the fish any way we wanted them.

Headed back to Marco last week and tried Six Chuter Charters. Thank you for the recommendation.
We caught mangrove snappers, sheepshead and whiting.
Wanted to go offshore but weather did not cooperate.

Hey there. I've visited Marco Island 10 out of the last 14 years and was headed there just a week ago and had to move my vacation to the east coast because the are having a HUGE red tide problem yet again! It causes respiratory illness, rashes, causes massive fish kills etc. There were a lot of people in my hotel who got lucky enough to get a room in Ft. Lauderdale who were booked at Marco Island. Red tide tends to hang around for a long time.
You can do well in the surf there too (got spooled on an older BG60). PM me if you want more info. This link will show you the hotspots for red tide in FLA.

It was there and I did notice people coughing on the beach. The last day (Monday morning) I noticed dead fish washed up on the beach too.
Hopefully the red tide goes away since my wife and I are planning on buying her fathers house from the estate - passed just before Christmas. It's a great location on a lagoon and we've always had a great time visiting him over the years.
