Default Recent Northern Pike

I've hit the river a bunch of times in the past couple of weeks, mostly after work. The pike have been hungry and aggressive. During one of my evening sessions, I ran into the man, the myth, the legend himself...Fast Eddie. Great to fish with ya man.

After seeing dozens and dozens of pike photos posted on this forum, I think it's safe to say that the NJF&W's stocking of the Passaic has been a resounding success. Too bad that the pike haven't flourished in the Millstone in the same way.

It was great running into out there buddy! I never really see anyone up or down stream or at the particular spot I saw you. Those fish are in a frenzy lately for sure. Beautiful river gators dude!!! Tuna man will travel and tuna man will find the fish as always!

Isnt because of the numbers of pike in the passiac vs the millstone? Going of this: http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/fish_pike.htm The passiac gets a lot more stocked.
