Default slabs and surprises!

I'll just make this short and sweet since all you guys are interested in is the damn fish porn!...perverts

fishing a few weeks ago i accidentally ran into a very healthy eyeball...in the very middle of the day in 3 ft of water...last thing i expected to see haha.

did some slab hunting, one of my favorite things to do, up to 14.5" and some bull sunfish too haha tell you what, no other 9 inch fish fights as hard as them!

more recently went out bass fishing without a nibble for hours...I started to think that the town public pool was the wrong place to be fishing...switched over to the super finesse super secret monarch larva rig and finally started getting some bass! a few small ones and average for me and my buddy got some nicer ones too. then i was greeted by a freight train that dragged us around for about 10 minutes. You can't find a fight like that from any other freshwater fish in NJ! Especially not in your very own town public pool!

and since i only posted this in the sw section here is a mermaid for all you non-believers: hahaha

No they migrate to public pools this time of the year looking for their favorite food-SNICKER'S bars floating in the pool after the caddy free swim. Pretty soon they will move back to the rivers in search of over ripe mulberries so they can get a buzz on.... it's a carp's life.
