Re: Epic Snow Day!
Cant beat a white grub, its a catch all for sure. Just curious how you work it in the dead of winter. Do you have to do a slow retrieve on the bottom, or are you jigging it? Again, Kudos to you guy's for killing it in the winter.

Re: Epic Snow Day!
Nothing special really. Same as you would casting from shore and reeling it in during warm months.
Just slow it down since the fish are sluggish. I think in the winter, the key is finding where the fish are hiding. Once you find the spot or a pocket, just keep presenting the baits over and over and over. Nice and slow. Eventually they will wake up and eat it or strike cause they are annoyed. |

Re: Epic Snow Day!
Brings back memories! Used to fish winter straight on through, when had the time. Got out on RVR once in January this year. Will this month, but bass, got to admit; they're special in the cold. They might seem dumber with snow on the ground, in a way, but I never lose my affections for them when caught in the cold! Great catches!
