Default Any vampires going out tonight on the big pond?

I'll be out on a yellow Hobie kayak. Say hi 👋 if I slide through. Good luck and stay safe. Happy Memorial Day to all.

Be careful out there and be sure to blast any on coming boats with a light.

2 kayakers were run over last month at night. Fortunately they survived because the boat was going slow. The party goers will be out in full force.

All safe last night. Stayed near shore in some protected areas. Marine State Police stopped by and asked if all was well. Informed them of all my protective measures and experience, they wished me happy fishing 👍👍
Snagged a herring and missed 1 hit, so skunksville for me last night.
Definitely different from some nights ago when I had eyeballs to 25"

Kayaking the big lake is great EXCEPT for Memorial Day-Labor Day. Day or night, too many inexperienced or intoxicated boaters for me to feel safe in my yak. Interesting though about being stopped by the State Police.

yep i was out on sunday and saw some crazy boat handling going on.. the shores are your best bet, but if you have to cross the cong you better pick a narrow spot to do so and do so quickly.
