Pops stocked the Pompton and Wanaque River yesterday

All stockie brookies
Brood Stock were 17 inch rainbows.

Interesting, didn't know the Pompton River was stocked with Trout. The Pike must love 'em lol.

I have never heard of pike being caught in the pompton.... Im not sure they venture into that skinny water..

Im sure the trout that travel down into the passaic have a run for there money when they enter those waterways...

The state stocks both Pompton Lake and Pompton River with Pike every year. I've caught a handful in both in the passed few years.
