Default Swinefield bridge kayak access

Not looking specific fishing spots. Would just like to know how the access is at this site. The bridge is located at the intersection of eagle rock rd and river rd in Roseland. Thanks in advance

Easy. Essex County Environmental Center has a canoe kayak launch on the south bank upstream of the bridge. But not as easy as it used to be before the parking area upstream of the bridge on the west side was blocked a couple of years ago. Anyone know why?

my brother-in-law is a cop there, said it's private property and the owner decided to cut off the access, simple as that. I'd assume people did dumb stuff there to piss the owner off.

Are you allowed to launch and park and the Environmental Center?

That ramp would get pretty crazy at times and heard of cars driving into the water unintentionally. Like was posted above, rood top launch at the Environmental Center. A little muddy and loaded with bees, be careful lol.
