Default Anchor rode cleaning.....I found this funny as hell....

....stripping the boat down for its winter sleep. Emptied the anchor locker and rode was a mildew mess. Googled "cleaning anchor rode" found some good suggestions but the disclaimers had me PIMP!

"remove anchor and chain before putting rode in washing machine"

...so what your saying is someone, somewhere, at some time, actually stuffed the anchor and chain into the washing machine??!!

Why is it funny? Some people can simply not afford to buy fancy machines like chain cleaners and anchor washers. There are people less fortunate boaters everywhere.
