We had another awesome squid trip last night. Things started off a little slow, but once we anchored the boat and got all of our lights in the water, the squid started to come. It didn't take long to build up a bite and start filling up buckets.

Today we had flat out fantastic porgy catching today! We had a private charter this morning and they came ready to catch! The scup were chewing right from the start and continued to chew right into a boat limit! We also had a great mix of weakfish and bluefish as well. We are heading back out tomorrow morning for more Peconic Bay porgies at 7am. Don't miss out on the hot spring action!

Awesome report! Have to be some jumbo fluke chasing those schools! Do those squid come inshore to spawn or just part of their normal migration. Either way, great stuff and fresh calamari! Get the sauce ready! Very cool, thanks for sharing.
